BASE™ Relational Bodywork
BASE™ supports the body in unwinding trauma and restoring regulation. Through relational touch and presence, the body is gently met where it has held trauma — whether in the nervous system, organs, or structures — so that constriction can soften, and natural flow, safety, and ease can return. This work bridges body and mind, offering a compassionate pathway for healing chronic stress, trauma, and patterns of dysregulation. BASE™ is not a form of physical rehabilitation, structural repair work, or any other form of medical treatment.
BASE™ sessions are conducted either seated in a chair or lying on a table (or both). Touch work and relational bodywork are involved, with your consent, and you will be asked to share your impressions of the sensations you feel in your body throughout the session. Unlike massage therapy, you will be encouraged to remain present, as this is a key part of the process of resolving trauma in the body. The sessions include time for integration and discussion.
